The Iranian-American Community in the Bay Area will celebrate their New Year with Norooz Spring Festival - San Jose
We invite you and your family to come and enjoy this weekend with us. There will be food booths, entertainment, music and dancing as well as other fun activities for the kids and grown ups and more. Meet dignitaries and celebrities too. Come celebrate Iranian Style at San Jose’s biggest and newest Cultural Plaza! The Mexican Heritage Plaza.
Dates: Saturday March 20th and Sunday March 21st
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Address: 1700 Alum Rock Ave., San Jose, CA 95116
Vicinity: 2 lights east of Hwy.101 near downtown SJ at intersection of Alum Rock and King rd.
Ticket Prices are as follows: General admission: $12 per person per day
65+ or Students with valid ID: $ 5 per person per day
Kids under 12: $ Free!
Entry tickets will be available at the door. They can also be purchased at Iranian and Middle Eastern supermarkets or business establishments in March. Ask for Norooz Festival Tickets.

Parastoo Magazine's annual Nowrouz celebration

We are celebrating Nowrouz of 1383 (Iranian New Year) and the magazine's 16th anniversary.
Thanks to the wonderful Iranian community of Dallas and Fort Worth area for their support.
Date: Sunday, March 21 at 4pm
Location: The Courtyard Theater located at 1509 Ave. H in Plano, Texas.
As always we have many interesting programs, especially for kids and teenagers. Amou Nowrouz, dance group, talent show for all the kids (tell your children to get ready for it), and lots of music and food. Of course, our elaborate "Haft Seen" spread will be displayed.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and children. Seats are theater style and will be numbered. (Kids under five will get in for free)
Tickets are available at Parastoo offices, as well as the local Iranian stores (Haji, Caspian, Sahara, and Natalie Bakery).
If you wish to donate a door prize to be given to the audience (as a way to promote your business) please contact Parastoo.
