Pouya Alimagham, UC Berkeley honors graduate in Political
Science and Middle Eastern Studies will give a lecture on the Iran-Iraq War, how it started, what happened throughout the war, and how it has effected the region up until today. A discussion will follow
where people will both express opinions and personal stories.

Iranian Movies every Monday Night at 7pm, SOAS

School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS) Iranian Film Club at the Media and Film Studies Program in association with the Persian Society present Iranian movies every Monday night at SOAS main building (Russell Square) in room G62. All movies will begin at 7pm. SOAS is located at Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H OXG. Four films will be shown, the first being "At Five in the Afternon" by Samira Makhmalbaf and the last will be "Under the Skin of the City" by R. Bani-Etemad. All film viewings are free to the public.
