ANNUAL NOROOZ BAZAAR

Persian New Year is a time when friends and family gather to celebrate
the arrival of spring and of new beginnings. At this special event,
you will get a taste of Iranian culture and its delicious cuisine with
tasteful homemade pastries, traditional cookies, and other scrumptous
gifts. We also invite you to purchase gift baskets, beautiful spring
bouquets, and seasonal flower arrangements. Get everything you need
for the new year!

IAWS is a 501(c)(3) organization formed to raise money to benefit
battered Iranian American women by providing funding for legal
services, shelter, and child care. IAWS also awards scholarships to
graduating high school seniors.

Dates: Friday, Mar. 11 and Saturday, Mar. 12

Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12, 2005, 10.30-5 each day: The Iranian American Women's Assocition (IAWS) is hosting its annual Norooz Bazaar in Rancho Palos Verdes. Notify your friends and family who are interested in buying everything they need for
Norooz (sheereey and haft-seen type items, as well as other goodies) while also contributing to a good cause.
This nonprofit org raises money to benefit battered and
abused Iranian-American women (a rampant problem most of us don't hear about) by providing funding for shelter, legal services, and child care. They also award annual scholarships to graduating high
school seniors.
