“Raising Sexually Healthy Persian-American Children”
A basic foundation from infancy to teenage years

Do you ever wonder how to talk and what to say to your kids about sex and sexuality?
Do you want to pass on your values while helping them develop healthy sexuality?
This short talk will help answer the above questions. We will visit the different aspects of healthy sexuality, children’s development, and the influence of the culture. We will discuss ways to create an environment where children can grow in today’s over-sexualized culture in a healthy way while passing on the family values.
When: Sunday October 2, 2005
3pm – 5:30pm

Fee: $12 per Person - $20 per Couple

Dolat Bolandi, M.A., has received her Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology with Marriage and Family therapy emphasis from Santa Clara University. She has worked in the areas of acculturation, relationships, parenting, and family violence. She lectures on Parenting and Multicultural issues both in Persian and English. Prior to this, she had worked in the software industry for 10 years. She is registered with California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern and provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families in private practice in Los Gatos under the supervision of Arlene Auerbach, MA, MFT (lic. MFC 32275).
