Two students of middle eastern music would like to have a jam session for students of Persian and/or pan Arabic music. Bring your acoustic instruments and try out what you've learned!

Esteemed writer and professor Nahid Rachlin will read from her memoir and her latest novel. Persian Girls traces not only Nahid’s life, but also the interconnected lives of her aunt, mother, and sisters, in a tale of crushing sorrow, sisterhood, and ultimately, hope.
