On Thursday, February 1, at Boston University Metcalf Hall, Boston University's International Student Consortium will host a live video conference with Dr. Javad Zarif (Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Dr. Zarif will make introductory remarks. Professor Charles Dunbar (Former US Ambassador to Qatar and Yemen and IR professor at Boston University) will be the moderator for discussions. Prof. Dunbar will begin by posing questions to the Ambassador. Commentary will follow, before moving into a question-answer section.
There will be a focus on issues involving Iran's nuclear technology, Iran's outlook on war in Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Iran's relations with the European Union and the United States, and human rights in Iran.
