Magic of Persia will host a magnificent, high profile fundraising event in Dubai from 21st to 25th November, 2007.
Funds will be raised for Encyclopaedia Iranica, Professor Ehsan Yarshater’s lifelong project and the Magic of Persia Education Programme, which sponsors educational workshops as well as free family days in leading museums around the world. In addition, humanitarian grants will be awarded to The Future Centre for Special Needs, Abu Dhabi and Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, Dubai.
Over the four days, distinguished guests will be able to play golf, enjoy a traditional evening of Persian music and dance and dine under the full moon in the heart of the desert. The star studded gala takes place at the Jumeirah Bab Al Shams, where works by contemporary Iranian artists such as Nasser Ovissi, Ghaff Rouzkhosh, Afsoon and Mohammed Aneh Tatari will go under the hammer by a Christie’s auctioneer. Magic of Persia hopes to raise $1 million during the four day event.
