Behrouz Yahaghi and his friend Marty McCutcheon, are having an art show in Berkeley on September 27th and 28th 2008. Take this opportunity to see Behrouz's last show in the Bay Area. Hope to see you all at the event.
Behrouz Yahaghi was born into an artistic family in 1950 in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from Tehran's School of Fine Arts in 1972 and then traveled throughout Europe to expand his studies in Arts, graduating from the Academia Delle Belle Arti in Perugia, Italy in 1976. Behrouz Yahaghi's paintings have been extensively exhibited in Europe as well as in the United States. He currently resides in Oakland, CA:

Kasraei. Namâd Ensemble connects contemporary audiences to classical Persian music.
It was formed by four outstanding musicians who create original compositions based on
both the modern and classical poetry of Iran. Passionate and haunting melodies that are
performed by Kourosh Taghavi on the Setar, and Saeed Kamjoo on the Kamanche and
Queychak, poetically fuse with percussions by Mehrdad Arabi and Afshin Mehrassa
colorfully creating the needed space in which the beautiful voice of Khosro Ansari tells the
stories of our times.
