List of Persian/Iranian Events for 2012-04-26

Dear all,

Join us next week as we will show "Men at Work" (کارگران مشغول کارند). This movie was based on the initial idea by Abbas Kiarostami, and was directed by Mani Haghighi, starring Mahnaz Afshar, Mahmoud Kalari, Fatemeh Motamed-Aria, Atila Pesiani, and Reza Kianian. It is a political allegory on four middle-class guys on a ski trip weekend. A brief stop at a picturesque vista leads to their chance discovery of a prominent rock formation, and the story goes from there...

When: Thursday, April 26th, 7pm
Where: Building 200, located in the main quad, Room 02 (in the basement). (NOTE: this is different from the usual location). Also see the map attached to this email for more details on location.

To cover the costs of the screening, tickets will be available for $5, which can be bought at the door on the day of screening.

Please note that the movie will be in Farsi with English subtitles.
