A Twentieth-Century Persian folk and popular music performance. Monika Jalili brings to life the rich history of Iranian culture through music and poetry. Using traditional and non-traditional instruments, the musicians of her ensemble combine their influences to present original interpretations of this music. This is one of six performances presented in conjunction with the exhibition “Crossing Borders: Memory and Heritage in New America.”

Admission to all “Crossing Borders in Performance” concerts: $20/$15 for ArtsW members and students with ID
