The artist will perform a FREE concert that debuts an original composition inspired by Zār, a type of healing ritual performed in Southern coastal regions of Iran with its origin in Africa. Zār will also be the theme of discussion in Ahoo Najafian’s talk during the “Other(ed) Spaces” panel discussion as part of "Art, Social Space and Public Discourse" in Iran
